Strong Customer Authentication

From 14 September 2019, a new European directive (PSD2), aimed at making online payments safer, requiring Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), will be in force across the European Economic Area. This means that your guests’ online payments may be affected if your payment methods are not compliant in time.

Payments via our booking engine are meeting SCA standards for online payments at the time of booking in the markets where our fully integrated SiteMinder Payments solution is available. Broader EEA expansion of our SCA-compliant payments processing solution is planned during 2020.

The SiteMinder Channel Manager will support the new payment workflows that PSD2 SCA is bringing, this includes the ability to pass virtual credit cards where we do so today. Also, we have future-proofed our channel manager to receive the record of SCA from booking channels and will pass it to a connected PMS, along with the guest card details. When our connectivity partners have the ability to send the record of SCA – we are ready.

Yield Rules

With Yield Rules, you can easily set rules to your pricing and availability across all of your booking channels. Sell your most profitable rooms on your most profitable channels!

Single Guest Discount by %

Now you can configure a single guest discount by percentage at both the room rate level and channel room rate level. Make every room attractive to all types of guests with an appealing price point.

Inventory auto-replenishment

No more manual update of inventory, you can now automatically replenish the inventory following a reservation modification or cancellation from an Online Travel Agency(OTA).

Try it out in your hotel settings page. Go to Hotel Settings > General and click the icon under Auto-replenishment.

HRS Reservation Credit Cards

The enhancement allows credit card information to be stored in the Channel Manager or a connected Property Management System (PMS) when a new reservation is created.

Booking.com Stay on Arrival

Minimum length of stay on arrival allows properties to ensure price parity between Booking.com and other channels.

To turn on the feature, select “Yes” for Use Length of Stay on Arrival in the channel settings tab.
