New features

Insights | Rate Parity report

The Rate Parity report allows you to see a price comparison of your room rates across a range of channels. . This is important because your ranking on some OTAs may be affected if your rates are not in parity across the channels you are connected to.

The Rate Parity report currently supports Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Traveloka and HRS, as well as your website if it is connected to SiteMinder’s Booking Engine.

You can compare your rates as your guests see them and ensure you're staying on top of any changes. View your rates by specific dates, nights and guests with an easy refresh button.

SiteMinder Pay | Pay is launching in Mexico

SiteMinder Payments is a quick and secure way for your hotel, guesthouse, or B&B to easily accept payments online using SiteMinder’s Booking Engine. This saves you time and helps protect your business against unreliable credit cards, unwanted cancellations and no-shows.

As part of our localisation roadmap, SiteMinder Payments will be available to our Mexican customers using the Booking Engine by the end of January.


Improvements

Insights | Booking Performance report

Incremental improvement to the current channel mix report with more complete and accurate data, such as:

  • Adding a headline summary for all reservations (not split by channel)

  • Improvement to the daily breakdown to allow grouping daily, weekly or monthly

  • Include reservations with no monetary value in the length of stay, room nights and lead time stats

  • Add a count of reservations

  • Including a count of cancelled reservations

  • Splitting out room revenue from reservation revenue

  • Calculating ADR off room revenue rather than total revenue

  • Including reservations not in the hotelier's base currency in the report (converted)

Channel Manager | Booking.com channel upgrade: Reservation data/emails

The Booking.com channel upgrade is a prerequisite for content, which is a major feature enhancement and provides opportunities for further feature enhancements. As part of this change, the reservation confirmation emails will be changing format slightly, to support the data available with the architectural changes.
