About the Ally theme and accessibility

Web accessibility ensures everyone can access and use your website, regardless of their access needs or browsing requirements. It's increasingly recognised as essential for high-quality websites.

The Ally theme in Website Builder follows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG) and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Ally theme features:

  • Enhanced colour contrast for visual impairments

  • Keyboard navigation for all functions

  • Screen reader support

  • Alt tags for images

💡 Tip: To make full use of Ally's accessibility features, add alt tags to all your images. This helps screen readers describe images to visitors.
