Multi-Property helps you manage rooms and rates across multiple properties. Before you start managing rates, it's helpful to understand how the different parts work together.

About rooms and rates in Multi-Property

Room types are your accommodation types like "Double room" or "Suite". Create these in each property’s Channel Manager.

Rate plans are how you sell your rooms, such as "Breakfast included" or "Non-refundable". Create these in Multi-Property or in each property’s Channel Manager.

Room rates combine a room type with a rate plan to create a sellable unit, like "Double room - Breakfast included". These include both room details and rate plan settings.

Managing rates efficiently

Link similar rate plans from different properties to a single Multi-Property rate plan to:

  • Make changes across all properties at once

  • Save time on configuration and updates

  • Manage rates consistently at the group level

  • Import existing rate plans from your properties

💡 When you change a rate plan in Multi-Property, the changes automatically apply to all linked properties unless they have overrides.

About overrides

While you can customise rates for specific properties using overrides in Multi-Property, try to minimise their use. Overrides:

  • Prevent bulk updates from applying to those settings

  • Require more individual property management

  • Reduce the efficiency of group-level changes

⚠️ If you use integrations to manage pricing, check with your provider about rate configuration. Some integrations may require manual rate settings.
