Channel Manager: Inventory touch on modification for removed dates

  • Your Channel Manager now performs an inventory push for any modifications or cancellations made in your reservations.

  • This update will show the same availability in your channel manager and any connected channels reducing the chances of overbooking.

Channel Manager: SCA / 3DS - Store Network Transaction ID with Hostelworld

  • Your Channel Manager now supports additional data known as the Network Transaction ID (NTID) which enables you to reduce the risk of declined payments when guests are processing a payment via a credit card.

  • NTID works in specific instances where the channel has performed strong customer authentication and taken an initial payment from the card.

Siteminder Pay: CSV Export Enhancement

  • We’re adding the PMS reference ID to the CSV export to make it easier for you to enter transaction data into your PMS.

Direct Booking: Guest Modification

  • Guest Modifications has been released in Australia and New Zealand and will be released globally in June.

  • We’ve added a feature to the latest version of SiteMinder’s Booking Engine, that lets guests modify their own reservations. They can change their dates, or the number of guests, update their details, add personal requests, and more.

    Any date modifications are automatically updated in your system, freeing up the rooms previously booked, and you can disable or enable this feature any time you like.

    What are the benefits?

    • Provide guests with additional flexibility by allowing them to modify their own reservations online.

    • Reduce cancellations by allowing guests to modify reservations easily.

    • Forget about spending time over the phone or via email changing reservations. Gain time back in your day to focus on what matters the most.

    You can enable/disable guest modifications in your SiteMinder Booking Engine at any time.
