About segments
Segments help you control when and to whom your offers are visible. For example, you can show breakfast offers only to guests who haven't booked breakfast, or family packages only to guests travelling with children.
Set up segments
To configure segments for your offer:
Go Guest Engagement > Upsell > Offers.
Find your offer and click the ellipsis button (three dots button).
Click Edit.
Click the Segments tab.
💡 Tip: Review your segments regularly to ensure offers are reaching the right guests. For example, don't show breakfast offers to guests who already have breakfast included.
Configure visibility settings
Days of the week — Select which days your offer is available.
Active dates — Set start and end dates for seasonal or promotional offers. Leave both dates empty to keep the offer visible at all times.
Guest visibility — Choose if the offer appears Before arrival, During stay, or both.
Set room upgrade segments
For room upgrade offers, you can control which guests see the offer based on their booked room type:
Go Guest Engagement > Upsell > Room upgrades.
Find your room upgrade offer and click Edit.
Click the Segments tab.
Under Which guests should see this offer, select your segmentation options.
💡 Notes:
New offers are visible to all guests by default.
The system shows you how many guests will see your offer based on the next 90 days of reservations.
