Third-party payment gateways that can be integrated with your SiteMinder booking engine to process reservation payments.

Updated over a week ago

Important to know:

  • SiteMinder Pay is our official payment gateway. If SiteMinder Pay is not available in your country, you can enable a third-party payment gateway to use with SiteMinder’s booking engine.

  • To control the general settings related to collecting credit cards and payments, go to Setup > Property > Payment.

If SiteMinder Pay is not available in your country, you can integrate a third-party payment gateway with your SiteMinder booking engine in order to take deposits and reservation payments for your direct booking reservations.

How to activate a third-party payment gateway

You must be an Admin user to activate Payments. To activate a third-party payment gateway:

  1. Go to Direct Booking > Setup > Property > Payment tab.

  2. Click on the Activate now button.

  3. Enter the credentials to connect to your third-party account. Or, if you don’t have an account, you will need to sign up for an account on the third-party website.

  4. Click on Save gateway.

For queries about third-party payment gateways, please contact the third- party’s support team.

AsiaPay

AsiaPay offers three payment gateways:

  • PayDollar — available in Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

  • PesoPay — available in the Philippines.

  • SiamPay — available in Thailand.

Note:

To set up AsiaPay as your payment gateway, you must have anAsiaPay account. To link AsiaPay to your SiteMinder booking engine, you will need to enter the following details found in AsiaPay’s extranet:

  • Merchant ID

  • Secure Hash Code

  • Merchant API login ID — not the same as the login ID to access AsiaPay.

  • Merchant API password — not the same as the password to access AsiaPay.

To integrate AsiaPay, you will also need to send a request to AsiaPay Support asking them to change the data feed URL under your merchant account to the following: https://quokka-apac.siteminder.systems/payments-api/api/datafeed/asia-pay

AsiaPay’s payment methods

After integrating AsiaPay, your SiteMinder booking engine will be able to accept the following payments:

  • Credit card transactions.

  • e-wallet transactions, such as AliPay, WeChat Pay and LinePay.

SiteMinder does not support over-the-counter transactions (for SiamPay and PesoPay). We recommend that you disable this transaction type in AsiaPay’s extranet.
