Run through this checklist to assist you in getting your account ready prior to going Live.

Please note: We may already have configured your account based on the information you have provided, but we highly recommend that you go through this checklist to ensure that all information is correct.

Setting up your property

  • Review your hotel’s general details

  • Set up features, payment cards, taxes, and cancellation policies

  • Select a default language for your hotel extranet and additional languages for the booking engine

  • Set up guest emails to send to your guests at various stages of their booking process

Set up guest payment options (accepted credit card and/or payment gateway)

Set up your guest payment options to ensure that you receive payments coming from your customers. The Payment page is where you setup your accepted credit card, payment gateways, and service charge. These settings can be modified at any time.

The Payment page is a secured area and you will be required to enter a security code before being given access to setup or edit these settings.

Setting up your rooms and rates

  • Review your room types and room rates and create rate plans to represent your physical rooms and sellable offers on the booking engine

  • Select the room features to display on the booking engine

  • You can also set up cancellation policies and penalties in the booking engine

Managing your daily rates, availability and restrictions

  • Manage all inventory items like daily rates, availability and restrictions from the inventory grid.

  • Use the bulk update tool to update your inventory for multiple dates at once for at least six months before going live.

Customising your booking engine display

  • Update your booking engine colour theme, Banner Image and hotel Images to make your booking engine more appealing to potential guests.

  • Customise how you want to display unavailable rooms.

  • Set up how to want to display Urgency Messages on the booking engine, for example, Book Now Save X% or Early Bird Rate.

Linking the booking engine to your website

  • Link the booking engine to your website so your customers can book directly from your website. Refer to the Integration Guide and pass it to your web developer so that your booking engine can be integrated with your website

Creating offers & deals

  • Create extras to offer your guests the opportunity to pre-purchase additional items such as tours, flowers & chocolates, services, and food options

  • Create promotion codes to allow guests access special rates, room rates or discounts that are not available to the general public

  • Create rate plans with Package Deals, Early Bird rates, and Last Minute deals to offer dynamic discounts to your guests

Managing your account

  • You can create more users with different permissions in the booking engine and allow more people to use it, for example, your hotel staff, managers and receptionists.

  • Change your password should you need anytime.
