What to do if I have not received Reservation Confirmation emails for GDS by SiteMinder bookings for a day or more?
There are two reports that can be run to help assess the number of bookings that may be impacted.
Reservation Notification
Modification and Cancellation
For the first report which identify bookings for which your property would have received the Reservation Confirmation emails, please log in to GDS by SiteMinder extranet and go to Reports > Reports > Reservation > Reservation Notification
Set the Start Date from when the last Reservation Confirmation email was received by your property, or at least when you think the issue may have started.
Set the End Date to today’s date.
In the "Sent to" field, select Hotel
Click Generate Report at the top of the screen.
The report will run and results will appear in a new pop-up window.
You can download the report by clicking next to the disc icon and select Excel as the download format.
For the second report which provides information about bookings that were made, modified or cancelled, go to Reports > Reports > Reservation > New - Modified - Cancelled
Set the Start Date from when the last Reservation Confirmation email was received by your property, or at least when you think the issue may have started.
Set the End Date to today’s date.
Set the Report Layout as Data Extract Format (CSV/XML)
Click Generate Report at the top of the screen.
The report will run and results will appear in a new pop-up window.
You download the report by clicking next to the disc icon and select Excel as the download format.
