This article explains what you will find in the tabs and columns on the Health check page.

💡To access the Health check page, go to Multi-Property > Health check.

Introducing the Health check page

The Multi-Property Health check page shows any errors and warnings occurring in your distribution across all of the properties in your portfolio, thereby acting as a hub for all of the notifications from your properties and helping you take action to solve issues immediately. It also enables you to rapidly prevent discrepancies, overbookings, and other issues that may result from technical failures.

On the Health check page, you will see tabs representing different error types that have been gathered from all of your properties. Each tab has a table, below we will review what each table is for.

💡 Note:

  • New or unactioned errors and warnings will be highlighted in red on each tab.

  • You can use the filters to narrow down your results.

Failed reservation deliveries

This tab contains a list of reservations that failed to be delivered to their integration*.

*The word ‘integration’ refers to property management systems (PMS), central reservations systems (CRS), and revenue management systems (RMS).

💡 If you don’t understand the Reason for failure text, please contact your integration’s support team, as this message is usually sent from their platform.

Distribution and system status

This tab contains a list of alert notifications caused by interruptions to the channel’s or integration’s two-way connection — that is, the flow of inventory and reservations — due to scheduled maintenance or unexpected issues with our system or your channels and integrations.

💡 Read the Message to understand what the issue is, and check the Affected properties to see how many properties have been impacted.

Mapping errors

This tab contains a list of all error messages caused by mapping errors with channel rates. These errors occur when there is a mismatch between the rates on a channel manager and the rates on a channel.

Properties with channels experiencing delayed updates

This tab contains alert notifications caused by channel inventory updates that are taking longer than usual to be synced.

Disabled channels

This tab contains a list of channels that are disabled for any reason, either intentionally or due to an error.

💡 Read the Reason for disablement to understand why it was disabled.

Disabled channel rates

This tab contains a list of channel rates that are disabled for any reason, either intentionally or due to an error.

Channels awaiting connection setup

This tab contains a list of channel rates that are being set up and connected to a channel by our configuration team. Once complete, you will be notified and you can then enable the channel.

Suggested rate plans

This tab not only shows rate plans from your properties that haven’t been assigned to a multi-property rate plan, but also suggests creating new multi-property rate plans for them.

You might discover that the same type of rate plan has many different names across your properties, and therefore it is offered in your Suggested rate plans with all of its varying names. These duplications are caused by creating exactly the same type of rate plan on each property’s channel manager, but not giving it exactly the same name.

💡 It’s important to match rate plan names across your properties if the rate plans share the same settings: if not done correctly, this can lead to the creation of several multi-property rate plans where only one is needed.

On the 'Suggested rate plans' page, two rate plan names are similar, two highlighted rate plan names vary slightly, resulting in two suggestions. The similar rate plan names are 'Direct booking offer Bed & Breakfast' and 'Direct booking offer B&B'.
