Manage property users in Multi-Property

Updated over a week ago

💡 Important to know:

  • Each person requiring platform access must have their own user account.

  • Sharing accounts and login details creates security risks for your properties and guests.

This is in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Multi-Property takes the effort out of managing your users across your property portfolio. You can edit, delete users, and set their permissions. Users can be assigned to multiple properties to keep user configurations in sync.

Create a user

  • Go to Multi-Property's Properties page, then select the Users tab

  • Click on the (...) button and select New user

  • Enter the user's email address

  • If the user doesn't exist, you will be asked to enter their information and create an account

    • Once you confirm the creation of the account, an activation email is sent to the user's email address to complete their setup

  • If the user already exists, you can click on Manage user to view the user and perform other actions

Assign properties to a user

  • Go to Multi-Property's Properties page, then select the Users tab

  • Click on a user from the list, then click the (...) button, then select Assign properties to assign properties to the user

  • Go to the next page to configure the user's permissions for those properties. These permissions will be set across all selected properties

Edit or delete a user

  • Go to Multi-Property's Properties page, then select the Users tab

  • Click on a user from the list to open it

  • On this page, click the Config tab. From this tab, you can either:

    • Edit the user by clicking the Edit button

    • Delete the user by clicking the (...) button > Delete user. (Deleted users cannot be recovered.)

Manage user permissions

  • Go to Multi-Property's Properties page, then select the Users tab

  • Click on a user from the list to open it

  • On this page, click the Properties tab

  • From this tab, find any property and click on its (...) button > Manage property permissions

  • You can then add or remove a user's permissions for this property
