Fix channel room rates with a ‘Cross-linked’ error message
Updated over a week ago

Important to know:

  • You must make sure each channel room rate is derived from the parent room rate to avoid a cross linking error. This is to ensure your rates are being sold on your channels at the correct prices and to ensure we can offer you the latest version of Channel Manager and Direct booking.

About the ‘Cross-linked’ error message

If your channel room rates are derived from the incorrect room rate (for example, if the channel room rate is derived from a rate that is not the parent room rate), then the room rate will show a ‘Has cross-linked derived Channel Room Rate(s)’ error message, and the individual channel rates will show a ‘Cross linked’ error message.

If your channel room rates have a cross linked error, it means they are potentially being offered on your connected channels at the wrong prices. To make sure that your rates are being sold at the correct prices, plus to ensure we can offer you the latest version of the Channel Manager and Direct Booking, please follow the steps below to adjust your channel rate derivations.
