To ensure a higher level of security, access to sensitive information inthe Channel Manager is limited to Supervisors and will require entering a
security code for authentication.
The security code will be sent to your registered user account email address.
What is a Security Code?
A security code is a unique one-time (single-use) password, sent to your email address, to provide added security when accessing sensitive information in channel manager.
Supervisors will be prompted to enter a security code when:
Viewing and editing credit card details within a reservation
Changing the email address in the user account settings
Receiving the Security Code
When you attempt to access a secure area, you will be prompted to enter a security code.
Click on the button to access a secure area in channel manager.
View or Edit button to access payment card information.
Change button to modify user account email address.
An email containing a security code will be sent automatically to your user account email address.
You may need to refresh your email application to receive new emails. From your email, copy or note down the provided Security Code.
Return to the channel manager Security Access Required window.
Enter Security code.
Click on Confirm.
When does a Security code expire?
A security code remains valid for 15 minutes from creation. We will not send you a new code for as long as it is within the 15-minute interval, even if you close the Security Access Required window and re-open it.
Once authenticated, you will not be prompted to authenticate again for other sensitive areas unless you log out, or you are inactive for 15 minutes.
If the code has expired, you will have to generate a new security code again.
Note : Once you have keyed in your security code and it has been accepted on the screen, please delete the email immediately to avoid confusion in the future.
What if you did not ask for a security code?
Without the security code, even as a Supervisor user, you won't have access to the sensitive information.
