Room Rates inherit the occupancy settings of the Room Type, and the rate settings, restrictions, and inclusions of the Rate Plan.
These settings can be managed or overridden for each individual Room Rate.
A locked padlock icon is displayed next to any Room Rate settings that can be overridden.
To override a Room Rate setting:
Click ROOMS & RATES
Under the ROOM TYPES tab, click on the Room Rate or the Channel Rate you want to edit.
Click CONFIGURE and locate the property setting.
Click the locked padlock icon. This will change the status to an open padlock which means that you can now edit the setting and override the inherited value.
Enter a new value.
Click Save.
The new settings will be applied to this Room Rate only and can be managed independently of the parent Room Type/Rate Plan.
