Some channels will allow you to configure your Taxes and Fees settings based on how you choose to enter your rates in the channel manager. You can configure your channel settings to support rates inclusive or exclusive of taxes and fees.

Please note : Currently you can only set up taxes and fees for TripAdvisor Instant Booking and Trivago . You will not be able to see these settings on any other channels in channel manager.

1. Click CHANNELS
2. Click on CHANNEL NAME

In the CHANNEL SETTINGS tab you will see the field Prices Include Tax &amp; Fees

Select Yes if you include taxes and fees in the rates you enter in the channel manager for this channel. For example, if you enter a rate in the channel manager of $100 and set up a tax of 10%. The guest will pay $100 because all taxes and fees are included in the rate. They will see on their booking summary that 10% of the $100 they paid was tax.

Select No if the rates you enter in the channel manager for this channel are not inclusive of taxes and fees. For example, if you enter a rate in the channel manager of $100 and set up a tax of 10%. The guest will pay $110. This is because all taxes and fees are not included in the rates you have entered in The Channel Manager. Your 10% tax has been added to the rate that was entered in the channel manager.

- Select Yes if you include taxes and fees in the rates you enter in the channel manager for this channel. For example, if you enter a rate in the channel manager of $100 and set up a tax of 10%. - Select No if the rates you enter in the channel manager for this channel are not inclusive of taxes and fees. This is because all taxes and fees are not included in the rates you have entered in The Channel Manager. Your 10% tax has been added to the rate that was entered in the channel manager.

Click on the drop-down menu next to Name and select the type fee/tax you wish to add

Select from Fixed Amount or Percentage

- A Percentage fee/tax is calculated as a percentage of the rate you have entered in the channel manager. A percentage fee/tax is always applied per stay.
- A Fixed Amount fee/tax is added on top of the reservation total. The fee amount will be added to the booking total during the booking process. Note: If you select to add a tax or fee as a Fixed Amount it will always be added on top of your rate, not included. Taxes/fees will never be included in the rate displayed on the channel for the room unless you select to use a percentage.

1. Select either FEES/TAX tab
2. Click Add Fee/Add tax
3. Click on the drop-down menu next to Name and select the type fee/tax you wish to add
4. Enter the Value
5. Select from Fixed Amount or Percentage

6. Click Save
