How to connect to the channel Hotelbeds.

Inventory updates supported by Hotelbeds

Hotelbeds supports the following inventory updates:

  • Rates

  • Availability

  • Minimum stay / minimum stay on arrival

  • Maximum stay / maximum stay on arrival

  • Stop sell

Hotelbeds does not support:

  • CTA (closed to arrival)

  • CTD (closed to departure)

💡Hotelbeds has a maximum inventory update period of 750 days.

Before connecting to Hotelbeds

Before connecting to Hotelbeds:

  • You will need a Hotelbeds account and make sure your property is set up in Hotelbeds.

  • You need to create rooms and rates in Hotelbeds’ extranet, to match the set up in your SiteMinder platform.

Connect to Hotelbeds

To connect to Hotelbeds, follow these steps:

  1. Get your Hotelbeds property code. Log into your Hotelbeds extranet and take note of the Property code (also called “hotel ID”) that Hotelbeds has assigned to your property.

  2. In your Channel Manager, click Channels > click Connect New Channel and select Hotelbeds.

  3. Follow the steps to connect. Enter your Property code, reservation e-mail address, and a rate multiplier, if applicable.

  4. Once you confirm and click Connect, please wait 24 hours for our support team to confirm the connection with Hotelbeds.

Update Hotelbeds channel settings

Once the connection with Hotelbeds is confirmed and activated, you can update the channel settings in Channel Manager > Channels > click on Hotelbeds > from the Channel settings tab, update the following settings:

  • Rate multiplier

  • Reservation e-mails — enter the e-mail address you want reservation notification e-mails to be sent to. When a booking is made via Hotelbeds, you will receive an e-mail notification from your SiteMinder platform, rather than directly from Hotelbeds.

💡If you only have HSI (inventory updates) enabled for Hotelbeds, then you will receive reservation notification e-mails directly from Hotelbeds, with the reservation details attached as a PDF.

Enable Hotelbeds

Once you have mapped all required room rates and checked that availability, rates, and restrictions are correct, enable Hotelbeds to start sending inventory updates.

To enable Hotelbeds, go to Channel Manager > Channels > click on Hotelbeds > in the Channel settings tab, change the status to “Enabled”.
