Check-in instructions

  • Check-in method — select an option from the drop-down menu that describes how guests check in to your property.

  • Check-in instructions — enter useful information that will help guests check in to your property.

Basic information

Complete the following two text fields:

  • Access — enter a brief description of your property’s shared facilities that guests can access (such as your restaurant, pool, and so on).

  • Description of the space — add a detailed description of your property that is at least 50 characters long.

Then, depending on your property’s specifications and circumstances, select Yes or No for each of the following options, and each time you answer Yes, provide more information in the corresponding text field:

  • Must climb stairs

  • Potential for noise

  • Pet(s) lives in the property

  • No parking on property

  • Some spaces are shared

  • Amenity limitations

  • Security cameras/audio recording devices

  • Weapons on property

  • Potentially dangerous animal

  • Pool/hot tub without a gate or lock

  • Nearby lake, river, other body of water

  • Climbing or play structure

  • Heights without rails or protection

⚠️ Warning:

  • Informing your guests about present and possible dangers at your property is critical, especially for those with disabilities, children, and/or pets.

  • You must provide your guests with the utmost safety when staying at your property.

  • If you have weapons at your property, Airbnb requires them to be properly stored and secured.

  • Airbnb not only requires hosts to inform guests of any security cameras and/or recording devices in any common areas — even if they will not be used during a guest’s stay — but also prohibits them in private spaces, such as bathrooms, bedrooms, or other sleeping areas.
