Important to know:
You must make sure that your room types in Direct Booking are aligned to your room types in Channel Manager.
A room type in Channel Manager can only be linked to a single room type in Direct Booking and vice versa; there must be a one-to-one relationship.
To ensure we can offer you the latest version of the Channel Manager and Direct Booking, please review and adjust your room types configuration by following the steps in this article.
Review and adjust your room types configuration
Follow these steps to review and adjust your room types to ensure Direct Booking is aligned with Channel Manager.
In Channel Manager, go to Channels > then select your Direct Booking channel’s Mapped Rooms/Rates.
Review which Direct Booking room types (in the Direct Booking Rates column) are not aligned with your Channel Manager Room Types.
Then, in Direct Booking, find and click on the room rate that has been mapped incorrectly.
Click Suspend.
Go back to the Room Types page and click Create to create a new room type to align with the room rate you suspended.
Then, click Add Room Rate to create a new room rate for the new room type.
Go back to Channel Manager.
Click on the new room rate > Configure.
Ensure the Mapped to Direct Booking dropdown is correct, and ensure Continue updating channel is set to Yes , then click Save.
You might need to create a new room type or room rate to ensure you are linking your room type to a single room type in Direct Booking and vice versa.
